Born in the Southwest of England Cecil began playing guitar from the age of around 7. Shown by his father his first set of chords, he continued to teach himself. It was not long before he was playing guitar in the local gospel church.

He grew up listening to a wide variety of music.. Gospel, Funk, Jazz, Latin, Reggae, Soul, Rock, and Pop music. After leaving School he played in a variety of bands covering songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s 

 

2002 Cecil moved to the Southwest of France and played in various bands playing Blues,Rock Pop and Reggae.

 

In 2006 Cecil moved to Germany, where he had the opportunity to delve deeper into a wide variety of musical styles.. Jazz, Blues, Reggae, Salsa, Bossa Nova, Choro, Forró, Samba, Afro Pop, World Music and Classical music.
